Farnham Park National Baseball and Softball Complex is set to host the first ever British University and College Sport National Championships this weekend.
The event will take place over two weekends with the Softball competition running from Saturday, March 19 to Sunday, March 20 and the Baseball competition taking place the following weekend (March 26-27).
The matches will be played at the national centre in Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal from 9am onwards and feature the best college and university teams in the country.
This competition represents the culmination of 11 years of work by BaseballSoftballUK (BSUK) to elevate both sports into the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) programme and will feature the very best collegiate softball and baseball teams this country has to offer.
It is the first major event hosted at Farnham Park this season, while a full slate of baseball and softball matches are planned throughout the summer. During this time the venue will host nearly 20,000 players, volunteers, staff, and supporters from across the region.
