Maidenhead Swimmer Katie Crowhurst was on the podium on every day of the Swim England National Summer Championships in Sheffield.
The 14-year-old visually impaired swimmer, who competes in the S13 classification and is part of Great Britain’s para-swimming squad, claimed five medals at the championships, including one gold.
She got away to a terrific start in the 100m freestyle, finishing in 1min 10.29secs to take first place with a disability score of 563 points.
At 14 she was also the youngest competitor in the final.
In her heats for the 200m individual medley, she was five seconds slower than her qualification time, but recovered for a seventh placed finish over.
Despite a disappointing time in the heats of the 50m freestyle she produced a new pb of 31.72 to take second place overall.
Another personal best put Katie on the podium once again in the 400m freestyle, this time collecting a bronze medal, while she also took bronze medals in the 100m fly and 100m backstroke.
