The Berks & Bucks FA have revealed their finalists for next week’s BBFA Grassroots Football awards which will take place at Windsor Racecourse on Thursday, July 25.

The shortlisted nominees include several individuals and clubs from our area who'll be hoping to get their hands on one of the awards on the evening.

The event is set to be the biggest and best it’s ever been, with more awards categories, a new venue at Windsor Racecourse and the Sky Sports Reporter, Fadumo Olow as guest presenter.

Fadumo is currently a reporter for Sky Sports News and regularly appears as a guest on the Wrighty's House podcast. An extremely talented broadcaster, contributor, commentator and event host, Fadumo has worked with high-profile organisations such as Sky Sports, BBC Radio, BT Sport along with global brands such as Adidas and Copa90. She was also a recipient of a Football Black List ‘Ones To Watch’ award in 2019 and is an ambassador for the Youth Sport Trust.

Upon confirming the news, Fadumo said: "I'm so excited and honoured to be hosting the Berks & Bucks FA Awards evening at Windsor Racecourse. The footballing community in Berkshire & Buckinghamshire is so special and I can't wait to recognise your achievements over the last year."

For the first time the public have also been able to purchase general sale tickets for the celebration, and these have sold out, showing the level of interest in the event in the area.

Additionally, the Berks & Bucks FA would like to thank all the people who have nominated individuals or their clubs for an award this year. Grassroots football survives mainly on the tireless work of its volunteers. It simply wouldn't function at both an adult and junior level without the contribution and sacrifices people make for the sheer love of the game and the willingness to help others achieve
