A new artisan and farmers' market is set to launch in the Waterside Quarter this Sunday.

The Artisan Uprising’s Artisan and Farmers' Market will showcase a curated selection of artisanal food, sustainable products and handmade goods.

The market will provide a platform for creative entrepreneurs to share their products.

It will take place at the Waterside Quarter on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10am to 3pm, starting on Sunday, April 6.

Visitors will be able to explore a range of artisanal products, including handmade jewellery, food, and eco-friendly homewares.

Jodie Anderton, founder of The Artisan Uprising, said: “After successfully running a market in Caversham for several years, we are looking forward to bringing our market to Waterside Quarter.

“This lively riverside location is the perfect home for our market, which will feature a diverse mix of makers, artists, and producers offering high-quality, handcrafted products.

“Our aim is to complement the existing markets and businesses in the area and give visitors even more reason to explore and support independent traders.”

Guy Thomas, property and asset manager of Sorbon Estates, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome The Artisan Uprising to Maidenhead.

“This market will not only enrich the local shopping experience but also create new opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with and support independent businesses.

“With Waterside Quarter already home to so many fantastic restaurants and cafes, the market will add another layer to the vibrant experience we’re creating here.”
