Bucks have included 18-year-old Stony Stratford seamer Louis Gulliver in their squad when they start the defence of their National Counties Championship title against Lincolnshire at Sleaford on Sunday.
Gulliver has impressed while playing for the Bucks 2nd XI over the past two summers and is in line to make his Championship debut.
Another possible debutant is Richmond's 19-year-old Vanish Jani, who has made 150 for the 2nd XI this summer.
Both are included in the Bucks squad of 12 along with Michael Wells, who returns to the side following his successful first season three years ago.
Bucks who won the Championship with a record-breaking 559-run win over Devon in September thanks to centuries from Ross Richardson and Aadi Sharma, are without two experienced players.
Consistent opener AJ Woodland cannot play in the three-day games this year to work commitments, while former skipper Michael Payne is out with a broken little finger.
Bucks, who had a disappointing white-ball campaign, will be hoping to repeat last year's Championship triumph.
Bucks squad: T Hampton (Wokingham) capt, C Hemp (High Wycombe), M Wells (Stony Stratford), V Jani (Richmond), A Sharma (Great Brickhill), A Kervezee (Halesowen), R Richardson (Henley), E Bragg (Halesowen), C Haddow (High Wycombe), C Parsons (High Wycombe), T Weymes (Tring Park), L Gulliver (Stony Stratford).
