A proposal to build a Hindu Community Centre on land opposite the Boulters Lock car park has proved to be controversial, with a number of nearby residents objecting.
The Hindu Society is looking to build a one-storey community centre on the land so it can hold educational, cultural and social events.
The society said the centre will be made available for the wider community and says it has been looking for the right site for 11 years.
Critics of the plan have hit out at the proposals and said the centre will add to existing parking problems in Maidenhead Riverside as only 13-16 parking spaces are proposed.
Residents have set up a community interest company to set up a rival bid for the land to turn it into allotments, and say councillors are not listening to their concerns.
We want to know what you think.
Would you like to see the centre built so the Hindu Society has a place to call home? Or do you believe the proposed location and plans are not right?
