I would like to congratulate our newly elected MP Mr Tan Dhesi on becoming the first MP wearing a turban sitting in the House of Commons.
He and his team deserve all the credit for running an efficient, clean, honest and professional campaign unlike the other parties who indulged in character assassination against Jeremy Corbyn.
As regards the Conservative Party, a big advertisement in the local press by them depicted Jeremy Corbyn as heading a 'coalition of chaos' and Theresa May as heading a ‘strong and stable government’.
Now she has to eat humble pie and to knock on the door of the DUP to form a coalition with them. I wonder what name she would give this coalition of hers? In the end, I wish our new MP Tan Dhesi the best of luck.
May he keep serving the people of Slough for a long time to come.
