Man pleads guilty to Tilehurst home burglary

A 36-year-old man has admitted burgling a home in Tilehurst on Thursday.

Odelle Christian, from Leicester, was arrested at the property in Lytham End and pleaded guilty to burglary at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday.

A member of the public reported seeing a man climbing through the rear window of the home at about 1.45pm. He was arrested at the scene and found with property stolen from the house.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court for sentencing on September 28.
