Train services have been disrupted after a man was struck by a train at Southall Station this morning (Friday).
British Transport Police (BTP) said officers were called to the station after the man was hit by the 11.42am Heathrow to Paddington service.
A First Great Western (FGW) spokesman said the incident had been cleared but said services in both directions had been suspended for more than an hour.
A BTP spokesman said: “The incident, which was reported to BTP at 12.02pm, is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
“London Ambulance Service paramedics also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers will be working to establish the man's identity and inform his family and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
