Anti-theft prevention scheme ShopWatch came into force on Monday to tackle shoplifting at the Bishop Centre.
The shops are working in partnership with Thames Valley Police and Chiltern and South Bucks District Councils to crack down on shoplifting which is affecting retailers.
PCSO Angela O’Connell said: “I am really happy that the shops are working in partnership with us to clamp down on shoplifting in the area.
"The new radios will help the shops involved to contact each other quickly and pass on information to each other if something happens in order to prevent further offences."
