Tickets for Cliveden Literary Festival are set to go on sale this month as the festival returns for its eighth year this October.
Established in 2017, the event provides a forum for thought-provoking ideas, lively discuss and political debate.
It will be returning to Cliveden House on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12.
Last year’s programme featured a range of guests including Salman Rushdie, Tom Holland, Emily Maitlis and Elif Shafak.
The festival is run by a committee of authors and historians, including Natalie Livingstone, Andrew Roberts, Catherine Ostler and Simon Sebag Montefiore.
It draws on Cliveden House’s history as a literary saloon frequented by thinkers and writers including Alexander Pope, George Bernard Shaw, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Jonathan Swift and Sir Winston Churchill.
Visitors to the event will also have the chance to explore the National Trust gardens and enjoy scenic walks down to the River Thames.
People are asked to sign up to the Cliveden Literary Festival newsletter and follow on the festival's Twitter and Instagram accounts to be notified of when tickets go on sale.
