The SportsTALK team are back to round-up a mostly positive weekend of sport in our local area.
On Saturday, Maidenhead United claimed a vital win over Eastleigh to boost their bid to maintain their National League status. But United couldn’t have done it without star striker Danny Whitehall. Josh caught up with the forward after the game on his performance and what the result means for the Magpies.
Slough Town continued their march in the National League South with a 1-0 win over Braintree. Warren Harris’ first half finish left the Rebels 3rd in the table. Dan reflects on their fight for promotion and impressive form.
There was no rugby last weekend for our sides in the South West Premier and South West 1 East, but there was action elsewhere with Slough and Drifters. Hear how they got on and what the result means for them in their league.
This week’s podcast concludes with a short hockey round up on both the Maidenhead Men’s 1sts and Maidenhead Women’s results.
