A 31-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with an incident of violent disorder in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to Kaywood Close, Slough, over reports of a violent disorder between multiple men, at around 3.15am on January 12.
Police believe one man was struck by a vehicle during the incident and have reported a noise that sounded like a gunshot was heard.
The man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Annabelle Palmer, said:
“We are investigating this incident and believe that those involved were known to each other and that there was no danger to the wider public.
“Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries into this concerning incident.
“As such there will be increased patrols in the area in order to provide reassurance to the public.
