Police in Salt Hill Park
Two men from Slough have been arrested in connection with a rape which happened in Salt Hill Park.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape and is in police custody.
Another 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and was released on police bail until September 14.
Both men were arrested yesterday (Wednesday), the same day the incident took place.
At around 2.30am, a woman aged in her forties, noticed two men following her as she walked near the park in Bath Road.
They approached her near the entrance of the park opposite Windmill Road and pulled her further inside the park.
The men assaulted her and one of the men raped her.
The victim is continuing to receive support from specially trained police officers.
