OPERA Prelude’s next lecture recital, “Folktales to Fantasy”, features soprano Natasha Agarwal, accompanied by Francesca Lauri on piano.
As the Christmas season approaches, Opera Prelude Young Artist Natasha will explore how folk stories and fairytales from around the world are told through the medium of opera.
Originally from Liverpool, British-Indian soprano Natasha recently made her debut as Zoe Green in Jonathan Dove’s Uprising at Glyndebourne.
The lecture recital, which takes place at Christ Church in Reading Road, Henley, on Friday, December 5 from 11am to 1pm, will also be sprinkled with some festive favourites. Tickets cost £30.
