A generous primary school pupil had 12 inches of her blonde locks chopped off to fundraise for a charity to provide real hair wigs for children suffering with cancer.
Venetia Norburne, seven, had her hair cut to send off to the Little Princess Trust.
The Lowbrook Academy pupil was also sponsored for her charity event and so far has raised £536.
Venetia’s mum Zoe said: “I’m very proud of her. It was all her own idea.
“She loves her new hair and afterwards she said she wants to grow it out to cut it again.”
Venetia, who lives in Heynes Green, had her hair cut at Bev’s Barbers in the Grove Park Business Estate on Wednesday.
