Probably worth a quick refresher on how GCSEs are graded now as results start to drop in. GCSEs are now graded with a numerical system from 9 to 1 rather than A* G. In old money, a 4 is now broadly equivalent to a C grade while a 7 is broadly equivalent to an A. Still with us?
