THE deadline for applications for the next round of grants from the Louis Baylis Trust is next week.
The charity, which owns the Henley Standard, supports charities, community groups and good causes in the area.
Its trustees meet twice a year to approve grant applications and the next meeting will be in December. Application forms must be submitted by next Friday.
In the July round of donations, nearly
60 charities, community groups and good causes shared almost £120,000 in grants.
Chairman Peter Sands said: “Organisations do not have to be charities but we do not consider applications for individuals.
“It is always very rewarding to support the great work done by so many hard working community groups and we hope to see some new applicants.”
The trust was set up in 1962 by Louis Baylis to support independent journalism.
