scenes from the day after filming ended
Scenes from the forthcoming season three of Netflix's worldwide phenomenon Heartstopper have been leaked online by superfans based in Burnham.
Intrigued by crew signs, fairground rides and live music, locals flocked to the film site at the former E-ACT Burnham Park Academy to snap photos and videos.
Bright pastel coloured flags encircling the carnival could be seen towering above the trees from the surrounding roads.
Snippets on social media show the cast, which includes the two leading love interests Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson (played by Joe Locke and Kit Connor) plus extras, enjoying an evening at a 'Carnival'.
Videos show Charlie, Nick and others on the helter skelter, screaming in delight and then returning to the group and hugging.
Other scenes show Charlie about to go on stage at the carnival to perform with a live band.
The usually still and silent grounds of the now closed E-ACT Burnham Park Academy were for several days unrecogniseable.
There were rainbow coloured balloons, bunting, life-sized lollipops, a Ferris wheel and flashing lights.
Previously, the grounds were only used to depict Truham Grammar School's rugby matches. The main filming location for the fictional school was previously in Herne Bay Highschool in Kent.
Now, most of the filming for the Netflix hit drama takes place in Burnham and the surrounding areas of Maidenhead, Eton and Windsor. Interior bedroom scenes from inside a Paris hotel, for instance, were also shot in Berkshire.
