Students had a Victorian Day at Holyport Primary School to learn about the industrial revolution, culture and education.
Year six spent the day in workshops each dedicated to a different aspect of the Victorian era on Tuesday.
Staff from the Royal Borough's library service came into the school to run the sessions.
Kiran Athwal, year six teacher said: “The students have been learning about the Victorians since Christmas.
“This theme is integrated into all of their lessons.
“They’ve also been readingSherlock Holmes novels in class and later on today they will have a go at being detectives.
“Students have really enjoyed learning about the era and how different lives were for Victorian students.”
After Easter pupils will learn about a new topic.
