Police release image in connection with Bourne End bike theft investigation

Thames Valley Police said the person (pictured) could have 'vital information' about the theft

Police are asking for help from the public to find a person whom officers would like to speak to in connection with a bike theft in Bourne End.

The bike was stolen from a property in Trees Road after the thief, who had arranged to meet the owner following an online sales listing, rode off on it without paying on November 15.

Officers have released the images of a person of interest in the investigation, who they say could have ‘vital information to tell us’ about the theft.

A statement from the force on social media said: “Officers are investigating a theft which happened on 15 November at an address in Trees Road, Bourne End.

“The victim had her bike stolen after advertising it for sale online. A male came to view the bike and rode off without making payment.

“Do you know this person or is this you? We believe this male may have some vital information to tell us.

“If you recognise them or think you have any other information relevant to this theft, please either 101 or submit a webform on the TVP website quoting reference 43250584564.”
