Witnesses needed after gang steals jewellery and cash from Bourne End family

Police are appealing for witnesses after a gang threatened a family and stole watches, jewellery and cash from their home in Bourne End.

Four offenders entered an address on Blind Lane between 11.15pm and midnight on Sunday (June 29).

The offenders threatened and demanded that the family of the property hand over valuables.

They took two high-value watches, jewellery and cash.

The offenders have all been described as being male and wearing face coverings.

Sergeant Campbell Smith of the Amersham Priority Crime Team said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this aggravated burglary or has information about it to please get in touch.

“Whilst thankfully nobody was hurt, this incident was understandably very traumatic for those involved.

“Also, if you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.

“You can make a report by calling 101 or via our website, quoting reference number 43250324740.

“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
