Police are appealing for witnesses to an e-bike robbery by a gang of boys in Twyford.
Three boys on bicycles approached the victim, a teenage boy, and his friends outside The Royal Pizza in London Road at around 5.30pm on Friday (March 21).
One of the boys got off his bike and asked the victim if he could ride his e-bike, a bright yellow E-Box Dragster, but he declined.
The boy became more aggressive, pulled his top and revealed a silver knife handle.
The offender and two boys he was with surrounded the victim, and he handed over his e-bike key.
The offender then rode the stolen e-bike towards Ruscombe.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Stephen Major said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this robbery to please come forward.
“Also, if you have CCTV cameras in the area or were driving in the area around the time of the robbery and have a dash-cam, please check your recordings in case they have captured something that could assist us.
“Anyone with information or footage should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250138807.
“Alternatively provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
