Staff and pupils from Polehampton Junior School are celebrating after the school was rated outstanding by Ofsted inspectors.
The junior school, in Kibblewhite Crescent was inspected on November 28-29.
Inspectors praised the exemplary behaviour of pupils and the exceptional commitment of staff to the quality of teaching and learning.
Penny Litson, headteacher of the junior school said: "We could not be more proud of all the staff who work so incredibly hard, as a team, to ensure that our fantastic children at Polehampton have the best junior school education possible."
Helen Ball, now executive headteacher of both an outstanding rated infant and junior school, said: "An excellent learning journey for all children is our vision and we are thrilled that Ofsted has recognised so many wonderful qualities about our school."
