Dressed to impress with liberal use of curlers and hair gel, thousands of visitors enjoyed the return of the Retro Festival.
White Waltham Airfield was taken over by dozens of period attractions across the weekend from Friday to Sunday celebrating the best of the last century.
Among the entertainment on offer was a host of music and cabaret acts across three stages.
The Spitfire Pavilion Ballroom brought the glamour of burlesque and big band music, while the sounds of the 50s were brought by rock and rollers on the Black Hangar Stage.
The line-up of period performance venues was completed by the return of the Ricky Tick Club, recapturing the spirit of the famous Windsor venue.
Live renditions of soul, R&B, mod and ska classics brought memories flooding back for those who remembered the golden days of the 60s as well as younger fans.
"We'll be jumping and jiving all afternoon, you can see why we are all into it," said Steve Silver.
"Some of the kids have been really into it as well."
Those who did not turn up in vintage attire need not have worried as there were plenty of stalls and bazaars selling just what they needed as well as a salon with expert stylists on hand to help create a classic look.
Of course, there were scores of people who came looking the part.
"We love it and dress up any time we can get away with it but we bought these dresses especially for today," said Sarah Hunter from Marlow.
It wasn't all pretty clothes and coiffed locks though.
Petrol heads perused a line-up of vintage, classic and American cars from across the decades and a spectacular Spitfire fly-past and aerobatic display paid tribute to armed forces veterans.
