Firefighters had to cut off the roof of a van after it became stuck while passing under a railway bridge in Station Road.
Two pumps from Slough were called to the low lying bridge at about 11am this morning.
The road was closed for an hour while the vehicle was removed.
The Mercedes Luton van was being used by a group of women who were in the process of moving house when it became wedged under the bridge.
Firefighter Jason Wilson said: "They did not just touch it, they kept on going."
Despite the incident there were no injuries to either the driver or passengers.
"They were all fine, just a bit shaken up and embarrassed," added Jason.
Having cut the van free, firefighters were then able to reverse the vehicle out of harms way.
