Astronomy day leaves participants over the moon
WEA Windsor chairman Jeremy Hurst, tutor Guy Hurst and WEA Slough chairman Alan Madge

Keen stargazers and newcomers alike were over the moon at the Workers' Educational Association's (WEA) astronomy day.

The adult learning charity held the event at Slough Library in the High Street on Saturday.

Our Amazing Galaxy was a first joint venture between WEA Slough and Windsor branches.

Popular tutor Guy Hurst packed in astronomical history, galaxy and star descriptions and up-to-the-minute information.

WEA Windsor has an astronomy course with Guy Hurst beginning on April 11.
