From 3.30pm to 9.30pm, visitors will enjoy shopping and food stalls, kids’ crafts, and a free goody bags will be given to the first 50 guests. Hosted by Slough Modest Sisters and Chai Couture, the event is free to enter.
On Sunday, the Arab Welfare Association will be hosting an Eid in the Park event at Slough Hockey Club in Upton Court.
Parking will be available from 8am, with the Eid prayer taking place from 9am and attendees enjoying a fun day until 6pm.
Visitors will be treated to a bouncy castle and slide, henna, face painting, chai, biryani, shawarma, ice cream, desserts, a punch machine and more.
Later in the month, Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA) will be holding an Eid Sunday Funday event for Palestine.
From noon to 5pm on Sunday, June 23, the event will feature clothes and food stalls, henna, face painting, storytelling about Palestine, Palestine merchandise and arts and crafts and more at Burnham Memorial Ground.
Over in Windsor, an Eid in Windsor Park event is being hosted in Dedworth Manor Park in Hanover Way by the Windsor Muslim Association (WMA) and Darul Arqam Academy.
On Sunday, there will be a prayer at 9am, followed by a sermon, after which Royal Borough mayor Simon Bond will give Eid greetings and wishes.
Councillors are also expected to attend the event alongside Royal Borough deputy mayor Mandy Brar and various political party candidates standing in the upcoming General Election.
Attendees will enjoy breakfast and dishes from across the globe, while also being treated to ice cream and a bouncy castle.
There will be free parking available, and attendees are asked to bring their own prayer mat.
