The latest image of work to create the Arbour Park Community Sports Facility has been released by Slough Borough Council.
The final touches of phase one of the scheme are taking place, which includes the testing of the pitch’s floodlights.
The 3G pitch at the site in Stoke Road has also received the FIFA seal of approval and is one of 24 in the UK to have gained the status.
This approval means the pitch meets the requirements of the Southern Football League and Slough Town Football Club can start playing home fixtures at the new venue.
Phase one of the build is expected to be handed over on Monday and it is hoped Slough will use it to play their local derby fixture against Hayes and Yeading FC on Monday, August 29.
