An application to approve a ‘reserved matters’ plans to build up to six homes in Fifield features in this week’s public notices.

The Royal Borough has received an application seeking approval for the appearance, layout, landscape and scale of plans to build up to six new homes at Willow Manor in Fifield Road, following its demolition.

The application fleshes out details of the plot’s outline planning permission, which has been permitted on appeal.

The plans include associated parking and landscaping, as well as the closing off of the existing access to Willow Manor and creating a new vehicular access from Fifield Road.

Elsewhere, an application for the phased development of up to two self-build homes on land adjacent to Hills Cottage in Hill Lane, Cookham, has also been received by the Royal Borough.

Road closures

The Pound northward to the northern boundary of 1 Pound Farm Cottages will be closed to drivers between 9am and 4pm on Monday, July 14.

The restrictions are to facilitate work to clear fibre network blockages.

The alternative route for those affected will be via Terrys Lane, Grange Road, Lower Road, Station Hill and the B4447 The Pound.

Elsewhere, part of Bradcutts Lane from its junction with Dean Lane northward for a distance of 130 metres will be

temporarily closed to traffic.

The order is to allow for a pole replacement and will be in operation from 7pm on Tuesday, July 15 until 6am on Wednesday, July 16.

The alternative route for drivers is via Bradcutts Lane, Terrys Lane, Grange Road and Lower Road.

The Royal Borough is also intending to

temporarily close part of Popes Lane from the northern boundary of the property Cherrycroft northward to the southern boundary of the property Ash House to drivers.

The proposed order is to carry out fibre optic blockage clearing works and will be in force between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday, July 29.

The alternative route for affected drivers is via Popes Lane,

Cookham Dean Bottom, Kings Lane, Dean Lane, Hills Lane and Popes Lane.

Elsewhere, the Royal Borough is intending to temporarily close the westbound carriageway of Hibbert Road from its junction with Gas Lane westbound to its junction with the A308 Braywick Road to traffic.

The proposed order is to facilitate access to BT underground structures and will be in operation from 7pm on Tuesday, July 29 to 6am on Wednesday, July 30.

The alternative route for affected vehicles will be via Hibbert Road, B3028 Bray Road, Stafferton Way Link Road, Stafferton Way and the A308 Braywick Road.
