A Christmas colouring competition will give children the chance to switch on a special Christmas decoration in the town centre.
Shanly Homes and Sorbon Estates have launched their Christmas colouring competition, inviting children aged 5-12 years to enter.
They could win the honour of turning on the Christmas star which will adorn the top of the Christmas tree at Waterside Quarter.
The star will be turned on at the businesses’ Christmas at the Quarter event on December 2.
Between 2pm and 6pm visitors can enjoy festive music, carol singing from 18th Maidenhead Scout Group and Girlguiding Maidenhead and children’s Christmas crafting.
Visitors can step inside a giant snow globe for a festive picture and enter the companies’ Instagram competition, sip mulled wine and hot chocolate, feast on roasted chestnuts and sample cuisine from our newest restaurants.
The highlight of the event will be the lighting up of the star at 5.30pm.
In addition, the winner will receive a £50 voucher to spend at artisan bakery Bakedd.
Competition entry forms can be downloaded from www.waterside-quarter.co.uk/christmas-competition
Alternatively, collect an entry from the companies’ marketing suite at Crown Lane, Maidenhead, SL6 1BX.
All entries must be received by midnight on Thursday, November 23. The winner will be notified the day after.
Entries can be delivered in person to the Waterside Quarter Marketing Suite at Crown Lane, Maidenhead, or sent by email to info@waterside-quarter.co.uk
