A charity which looks after vulnerable families in Maidenhead and benefits from the Cracker Appeal held its annual Christmas party on Tuesday.

More than 50 adults and children attended the party at Larchfield Community Centre, which is run by Recharge R&R.

Hannah Lucas, family child support manager, said: “It went really well. We’ve had lots of positive feedback from families, and Santa arrived right on time and gave our presents.

“I’d like to say thank you to Georgie Grafham, our operations manager, who wrapped all the presents and organised the event.”

The charity offers support and a safe place for families in need, and holds three drop-in sessions a week at Furze Platt, Larchfield and the town centre.
