The GlobalX Windsor C6 Festival will take place in Windsor next month and organisers hope it will become a popular and permanent fixture in the town’s summer events calendar.
The C6 Festival in Home Park will be a free weekend of cricket sixes, music, food and family activities taking place over the weekend of Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13.
The event will be free to attend and family friendly with the aim of bringing the community together under the umbrella of cricket and entertainment.
There will be an exciting short-format C6 cricket competition accompanied by live music, street food, a packed family zone and wellness activities - all beneath the backdrop of Windsor Castle at Windsor Cricket Club.
Organised by C6 Cricket, the event will feature:
• 6-a-side cricket matches throughout the weekend, including men’s, women’s and mixed team competitions
• An impressive live music line-up in partnership with CountryLine Radio every day, including local bands, acoustic artists and dance groups
• A Kids & Family Zone with funfair rides, a sensory bus, a mini train, and a QPR Fan Zone (Sunday only)
• Delicious street food from local traders including wood-fired pizza, Mauritian Inspired Cuisine, burgers, artisan coffee, and ice cream.
“We’re thrilled to bring the C6 Festival to Windsor,” said the C6 festival organisers Paul Burnham and Raj Chityal.
“It’s all about making cricket accessible, celebrating local talent, and creating a vibrant atmosphere that everyone in the community can enjoy.”
