A ‘spectacular, mesmerising and memorable’ Laser Light Show will be taking over a country park in Hurst this November for the first time.
The show at Dinton Pastures Country Park is run in association with local event organising company JL Events, and will take place on Sunday, November 2 at 7pm.
The event will provide guests with plenty of entertainment, food and drink.
Glowing stilt walkers will be seen, and visitors will enjoy ‘thrilling’ fire shows by a fire artist from Twisted Bliss Entertainments.
Activities including bungee trampolines, rides and light-up toys and games will keep youngsters busy throughout the evening.
Wokingham-based JL Butchers will serve up barbecue treats, and drinks can be bought from Reading’s The Rollin’ Inn Bar.
Cllr Katrin Harding, executive member for environment and climate emergency, said: “The Laser Light Show is a fantastic event to add to residents’ calendars this autumn.
“It is an environmentally friendly, great alternative to a traditional fireworks display, offering spectacular visual experiences without the noise and the environmental impact.
“There’s exciting entertainment lined up to delight people of all ages.
“If you’re looking for a quieter and more sustainable way to celebrate the upcoming Bonfire Night, The Laser Light Show is the event for you.
“We are proud to collaborate with partners like JL Events to build and maintain great communities through running events at our country parks.
“Running this event will help generate income for the council through event hire and ticket sales.”
Charlie Lowe at JL Events, said: “We are delighted to work in partnership with Wokingham Borough Council to bring the first laser light show to Dinton Pastures Country Park.
“Unlike traditional fireworks, the laser light show creates a stunning spectacle without the smoke, debris, or loud bangs.
“It’s a more environmentally friendly way to celebrate—gentle on wildlife, safer for pets, and powered simply by light and music.”
Visitors need to pre-book tickets, which cost £9.95 for adults, £5.95 for children aged two to 16-years-old and £7.95 for carers (ID needs to be shown upon arrival).
Children under the age of two can attend for free.
The gates will open at 4.30pm, with the Laser Light Show beginning at 7pm.
Guests can pre-book a discounted car parking ticket for £5 per car.
