A masseur from Datchet who sexually assaulted five women at a spa has been handed a suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay compensation.
Ibrahim Ali, aged 36 of Percy Place in Datchet, pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault by touching at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 10.
Between November and December 2024, he worked as a masseur at Nirvana Spa in Mole Road, Sindlesham.
Ali sexually assaulted five women who had booked in for back and foot massages.
He was arrested in December last year and was later charged with four counts of sexual assault in July 2025, and a further count in September this year.
Following Ali’s charge, two more victims came forward to report being sexually assaulted by him.
At a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Monday, Ali was given a two-year suspended sentence, a 40 day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement order and ordered to 350 hours of unpaid work.
He was also given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and told to pay £500 in compensation to each of the seven victims, totalling £3,500.
Investigating officer PC Chloe Palmer, said: “I want to pay tribute to the bravery of the victims in coming forward to report these crimes and for remaining engaged with the police from the start to the end of the investigation.
“We also acknowledge the full cooperation and support of Nirvana Spa throughout the investigation which has been vital, and we recognise the impact this has had on their business.
“I hope this result showcases how committed Thames Valley Police is in investigating, supporting and preventing violence against women and girls.
“This case highlights our determination to hold offenders accountable and to protect women and girls from harm.
“By removing perpetrators from our communities, we help prevent further offences and reinforce our commitment to public safety.”
Thames Valley Police said it takes all reports of sexual assault ‘extremely seriously’ and encourages anyone who has experienced a sexual assault to come forward.
