Great Western Railway has announced the services which will run this weekend as industrial action continues.
Disruption is expected as the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) proceed with planned strikes in a dispute over pay and the threat of redundancies.
GWR has warned passengers that an ‘extremely limited service’ will operate on a limited number of routes on Friday and Saturday (January 6-7).
As a result, customers have been advised to avoid travelling on the strike days.
Services will start later (7.30am) and all journeys on GWR trains must be completed by 6.30pm. Trains will be running between Slough and Windsor as well as London Paddington and Reading.
Services will also be affected on Sunday, with the possibility of short-notice cancellations and alterations.
Tickets for January 6-7 can be used today (Thursday), or up to and including Tuesday, January 10.
Season-ticket holders can apply for compensation through the Delay Repay scheme.
