US President Donald Trump will be returning to Windsor Castle during a second state visit to the UK in September.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed King Charles will host Mr Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the royal residence.
The historic visit is taking place from Wednesday, September 17 to Friday, September 19.
US presidents in their second term are traditionally not offered a second state visit but King Charles extended an invitation to the Republican leader earlier this year.
Mr Trump’s last state visit was in 2019 when he was welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II.
He also joined the long-reigning monarch for tea at Windsor Castle in 2018 in a visit which saw the world’s media descend on the royal town.
Mr Trump touched down in the castle grounds via helicopter before meeting the British Head of State for the first time in the Quadrangle.
Protesters had gathered outside the castle to oppose the visit with some labelling him as ‘toxic’.
