There were a number of fun activities including pony rides and sport at this year's Langley Carnival.
The Mayor of Slough, Cllr Mohammed Rasib, officially opened the event in Langley Road on Saturday.
"It is wonderful to see so many people here, all promoting various charities," said Cllr Rasib.
"It is a great event and a chance to show support for good causes.
"I have been coming to this event for 41 years, it is a great thing."
Aside from stalls, games and a funfair, visitors could also enjoy an afternoon of entertainment.
"We had a steady flow of people coming throughout the day," said festival chairman Elizabeth Barnett.
"Perhaps it was a bit too warm for some people but I think people did enjoy it.
"We had line dancing which was a new addition this year so there was things for people to watch."
The total money raised, which will go to 1st Langley Scouts, St Peter's Church in Chalvey and The Animal Sanctuary in Burnham, is still being calculated.
