Those around Dedworth looking to volunteer will have an opportunity to learn more about opportunities in early February.
Tesco Dedworth is 'looking to support local community groups by rallying local Windsor volunteers' via its store.
It is hosting a meeting of local volunteers at Tesco Dedworth (in its meeting room) on Friday, February 2 between 11am and 12.30pm. There will be 'a few short presentations followed by refreshments.'
Customers who would like to get involved in the community but who are unsure of how they might add value are invited to come and hear from the 'Tesco Heroes' about the projects that they get involved in.
The team plans on improving the events listings in-store and to enable community groups to call out for volunteers throughout the year as they need the help.
Most events can run with a few volunteers but others need many helping hands.
Within Tesco Dedworth’s Volunteer Network, those interested can join in as time allows and do not need to formally sign up as a member of one particular group.
