Witnesses needed after man attacked by gang carrying poles in Langley

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked by a group of men carrying poles in Slough. 

The incident of actual bodily harm (ABH) occurred at approximately 10.13pm on Saturday (June 8) at the junction of Scholars Walk and Station Road in Langley.

A man in his thirties was chased by a group of four or five men carrying poles, after getting into an argument with the group.

The victim was then hit multiple times with the poles, causing injuries to his head, shoulder, neck and back.

The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

All the offenders were described as white males in their thirties and of slim builds.

They had short hair and were all wearing t-shirts and jeans.

Investigating officer PC Mark Drewett, who is based at Slough Police station said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident or have CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area, to please get in touch.
