A wealth management business with offices in Hare Hatch has been assessed as one of the most successful in the UK.
Pearson Jones Plc, which is based in Milley Lane and has three other offices throughout the UK, has been rating the third most profitable wealth management business in the UK in a top 100 industry list researched by New Model Adviser, part of ratings agency and finanial publisher Citywire.
According to the research, Pearson Jones achieved profits of £1.5m in 2013 – £500,000 more than in 2011.
The research also shows the company has maintained 75 per cent of its recurring income since 2012.
The company, which also has offices in Sheffield, Bishop Auckland and Leeds, was also identified as the biggest in the top 100, with 120 staff and £1.8bn in funds under management.
