A day of family fun full of music, entertainment, and activities on and off the water will be held at the Maidenhead Waterways Fun Day on Saturday, April 22.
The free event will take place between 10am and 3pm and will see the High Street closed off between The Bear and Coppa Club to accommodate a range of stalls and a raised stage at Waterside Quarter.
The fun day kicks off at 10am with a canoe cavalcade on the water, followed by the ‘crazy’ Flamingo Chase.
Claire’s Court and Berkshire Scouts will also take to the water for demonstrations.
Short boat trips will be available from the new boating platform at Chapel Arches.
The High Street will be decked with food stalls, and a stage showcasing various entertainers throughout the day, with something for everyone.
A magician, a bubble fairy and even a singing mermaid will be among the attractions.
This event is being organised by the Friends of Maidenhead Waterways (FoMW) and the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Bridge.
Sponsors include the Louis Baylis Trust, Sorbon Estates and Countryside.
