Our photographers have been out and about capturing the elation as students picked up their GCSE results today (Thursday).
Pupils have endured a turbulent education due to the pandemic but despite the interruptions, schools in our area have still reported impressive sets of grades.
Photographer Ian Longthorne was busy with his camera this morning visiting schools across Maidenhead as youngsters discovered whether their work had paid off.
Many now have ambitions to study A-levels or apprenticeships after leaving school.
