A series of performances took place to launch Maidenhead's new amphitheatre on Saturday.
Crowds gathered in the public space, which is part of the Shanly Homes' Chapel Arches project and is located next to the library in St Ives Road.
The afternoon of performances included shows from musician and clown Sid Bowfin and Stagecoach Maidenhead.
It preceded the town's Christmas lights switch-on at Maidenhead Town Hall.
Town Manager Steph James said: "It's a new space so it is trying to get people to realise it is there.
"People did come and have a look.
"We had a few throughout the day.
"Going forward, that is going to be a fantastic space for us to use."
