Record numbers of festivalgoers watched on as headliners including Scouting for Girls and Feeder took to the stage at an action-packed Fi.Fest last week.
The popular Fifield-based festival was back for another year this month and kicked off with a party on Friday, July 11.
Crowds watched on as acts including the Country Chicks, N-Trance, Livin’ Joy and Rick Parfitt Jnr and The RPJ Band took to the main stage to belt out tunes.
More than 300 campers stayed at the site on Forest Green Road, ready to continue festivities on Saturday.
The event kicked off from noon on Saturday and despite, the weather heating up, record crowds were enjoying the music, attractions and plenty of food and drink.
Fairground rides and the bumper cars from Traylens were keeping festivalgoers busy throughout the event.
Youngsters were trying out their circus skills and there were plenty of games, including table tennis to enjoy.
The drinks were flowing at the bar as people sat in the sun and soaked up the atmosphere.
Stalls from charities, businesses and food vendors lined the fields, with everything from fish and chips to wood-fired pizza, Indian street food, fried chicken, Greek cuisine, burgers, noodles, crepes and brownies on the menu.
Charity Stand Out For Autism had brought along their sensory bus to provide sensory sessions for families, and Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service were also offering a tombola at their stall.
Festivalgoers donned an array of colourful designs after visiting the face painting stall.
Stars Wars characters were greeting guests around the fesitval and vendors were busy selling a range of festival goodies and merchandise.
Throughout the afternoon, crowds were gathering by the main stage to enjoy music from Reliant, The Hot Damn, Oasis tribute band Ohasis and Woody Cook and the Punk Rock Factory.
The evening saw pop band Scouting for Girls, well-known for their hits She’s So Lovely and Heartbeat, entertain crowds with plenty of tunes.
They were followed by Welsh rock band Feeder who kept the party going later in the evening.
Lots of acts were keeping guests entertained from the festival’s second stage throughout the event.
This included Ford House Band, West Street, Modern Devils, Euphoria and The Mustard.
The site also offered hours of fun for children with fun arts and crafts and a dedicated kids area with bouncy castles, a ball zone and a stage.
A princess show, a pirates dance along, and a disco were just some of treats keeping children entertained from the kids stage.
