A dejected Wiktor Makowski admitted there were tears at full-time as Slough Town missed out on a potentially life-changing spot in the FA Cup third round.
Slough Town can take some heart from the way they played at Arbour Park this afternoon, particularly in the first half after Wiktor Makowski headed them into an early lead.

That was the Rebels first win in five league matches - all of them defeats - and it lifted to within a point of safety at the bottom of the National League South. Scott Davies side have though produced three impressive displays in their last three outings, defeating Beaconsfield Town 8-0 in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup before bowing out to Gloucester City in the FA Trophy on penalties despite dominating that clash.
