An award-winning pan-Asian restaurant has announced an opening date for its new Windsor branch.
Banana Tree, founded 30 years ago in London, is set to open at Thames Street near Windsor and Eton Central station next week.
As well as its popular chicken and vegan Katsu curry, Banana Tree offers a variety of dishes hailing from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
Banana Tree managing director, Anne Chow said: “We’re really excited to opening a brand-new site in Windsor and can’t wait to show locals what we have to offer.
"We believe we’ve got the best Katsu in town, which is why we’re giving away 1,000 to celebrate the launch. Our all-day 2 for 1 cocktail offer, along with our express lunch menu, means we’ve got something for everyone, whether they’re looking for a light lunch, or a Pan-Asian Feast.”
The new restaurant is located on the site of the former Café Rouge, where the team from Café Rouge have moved over to Banana Tree and added ten new jobs in the community.
The new Windsor restaurant, and first in Berkshire, opens its doors on Monday, September 4.
The menu features a range of soups, salads, noodles, stir fries, curries, and South-East Asia-inspired desserts and the daily Banana Tree Bottomless Brunch offers guests a two-hour reservation filled with food and either unlimited cocktails, prosecco or beer.
To redeem the free Katsu offer at the new Windsor restuarant, guests need to fill in the form and book their table at https://bananatree.co.uk/1000-free-katsu/.
Customers will be given a £10 welcome voucher to spend on their next visit to Banana Tree.
