An elderly man had to be rescued from the River Thames last night after he fell from his boat.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, fell from his boat by Mill Lane, Taplow and fire crews from Maidenhead and Slough were called at around 11.30pm.
Police had already rescued the man before they reached the scene and he was checked for injuries.
The man was uninjured but was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for a check up.
Crew Manager Martin Smith from Maidenhead Fire Station warned people to be careful now the water is getting colder.
