As excitement grows in the run up to Christmas, Maidenhead’s Braywick Leisure Centre transforms into a vibrant stage for one of the most cherished traditions in the calendar: the annual pantomime.
This year from 13th to 24th December the spotlight falls on 'Snow White'.
This production showcases a blend of professional performers and local young talent from the community’s dance and drama schools.
Expect the familiar seven, each with their quirky personalities, but also bundles of audience participation, familiar songs, and the deliciously wicked presence of the Evil Queen—a villain audiences will love to boo and hiss.
Local humour, topical references, and a few surprises ensure that every performance feels alive, connected, and uniquely Maidenhead.

Scott James is poised to take the role of the larger-than-life Dame Doughball
Scott James is no stranger to the Baylis Theatre, a 500-seat auditorium located within the leisure centre, after playing an ugly sister in last year’s Cinderella.
This year Scott returns as the larger-than-life character, Dame Doughball! Also featuring Alice Pescott-Frost as the Wicked Queen, Max Field as Huntsman Jack and local resident, Rowan MacKillop, as the title role, Snow White.

Rowan MacKillop will play Snow White
Pantomime Producer, David Kemp, said: “I can’t believe we are in our 8th year already, where has the time gone? Last year we broke box office records, demonstrating a real want for professional yet affordable live theatre.
"Pantomime is a festive treat and annual tradition for so many and this year promises to be an even bigger and sillier show - oh yes it does!”

So, as December approaches, make a date with Braywick Leisure Centre. Let the lights dazzle, the music soar, and the laughter roll. The magic of Maidenhead panto awaits—and this year, Snow White promises to be more enchanting than ever.
Snow White is proudly supported by Marlow FM with tickets priced from £17 and available online at www.maidenheadpanto.co.uk
