A man from Slough has today (December 6) been found not guilty of the manslaughter of Marek Laskowski in the town.
Maciej Laskowski, 20, of Wiltshire Avenue was charged with manslaughter on May 30 this year.
Officers found Marek Laskowski unresponsive at the junction of Sheffield Road and Northampton Avenue on February, 24 2022, and tragically he died later.
Following an investigation, Maciej Laskowski was originally arrested on suspicion of murder but was later charged with manslaughter.
Following a trial, he was today acquitted of the charge.
Detective Inspector Alice Broad, the Senior Investigating Officer, said: “This was a very tragic case and our thoughts remain with all those affected.
“The criminal case has now concluded, and details have now been passed to the coroner."
